Authors from eligible low-income and lower-middle-income countries may be considered for full or partial Article Processing Charge (APC) waivers in accordance with the publisher's waiver policy. Authors seeking a waiver are encouraged to contact the publisher or the editorial office before APC payment to discuss eligibility and the waiver application process.
Limited APC discounts may be available for eligible students and early-career researchers upon request and subject to editorial approval.
Authors affiliated with partner institutions or organizations may qualify for discounted APCs through institutional publishing agreements.
Waiver requests are reviewed individually based on financial need, funding availability, and the publisher's APC waiver policy. Approval is granted at the sole discretion of the editorial office.
Article Processing Charges (APCs) are collected only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Once payment has been received and the publication process has commenced, APCs are generally non-refundable.
Authors will receive an official APC invoice after manuscript acceptance. Payments should be completed using one of the approved methods listed below.
